so over the weekend i've decided that even though we're probably not going to buy a place of our own until about a year or two, I'm going to get a head start and loosely plan out what i want each room to look like and scrapbook it.

here's a few of my dilemmas:
1. i like color and i like neutrals colors so i have to find a way to bring the two together. which i dont think should too bad. i just need to edit my colors and make sure i dont go color crazy ha.

2. my style and daren's style. although i'm not sure if daren actually has a style ha, i know mine isn't exactly his. like most men out there they're more into the modern style. which don't get me wrong i use too also, but as my style have evolved its become more elegant, classic and chic (or i would like to think it is). so ill have to find a why it fit a touch of modern into the mix... i dont want him to feel like its not his place also.

3. the bed room. i pretty much can picture how i want or would want every room so far except the master bedroom. it's the room we'll probably be in the most and i want it to be over the top, comfortable, romantic, refreshing etc all at the same time. in my head i keep asking myself the same things.. do i want it bright, clean and refreshing? or warm, romantic, and dark?


here's thing i know i want:

1. i want the living rooms to look and feel like the image above minus the baby grand in the corner (only because we can't afford that and we can't play the piano lol). i love the freshness of it, along with the drapes and wall panels. (LOVE LOVE LOVE IT) and of course dark wooden floors.
i can't wait until we actually get a place so i can decorate it... i've been itching to decorate forever now, but see not point in decorating our apartment if we're not planning on staying there that long. i also don't want to waste money on furniture not knowing if it's going to work with the place we actually end up buying.


2. a buffet that houses all the good dishes.


3. the exterior color of the house with a slight pop of color.

4. guest bath room with a strong color, cute light fixture and i LOVE the black door.


5. i want our master bath like this but with two sinks and have our own HUGE walk in closets on each side.


6. i want big fluffy drapes like these.


7. a HUGE mirror (a lot bigger than the one on the left) to place in the living room to make the space appear bigger.


8. a walk in closet with a vanity inside of it.

ill add more late..

HELLO LADIES!! guess which movie comes out on DVD on tuesday????....... yes that's right SEX AND THE CITY the MOVIE!! go out and get it. ^_^

i'm not really into many things all black but this is one black dress i think i would love to have. it's simple, classic and elegant which ='s timeless. LOVE IT!

so although some of these photos are of the outside of the home i still decided to throw them in this category. lol


i love these colors for the exterior of the house... i would so do this! i'm not a HUGE yellow fan (even though recently i might seem like i am ha) but the hubby is and i do love it as an accent color.


i would probably never have my walls all white for the bedroom (personally i think if it's not done right white walls can make the room feel incomplete) or even this simplistic but i love the feel of it all. i dont feel like simplistic fits what daren and i are as a couple. but i love the look of it.

i love when couples are different and unique.
i came across these invitations that Ceci New York did out of plexi glass and silk screening. it's very glamour meets graffiti punk rock. love it!! not sure if i'd personally do it for a wedding invite, but for a party FOR SURE!

personalized, perforated business cards in a matchbook-style carrying case. i thought it was a cute/different idea. i personally wouldn't have my main business cards like this, but i think its a great idea to give to a select people who might be referring you to others.

A hardworking bulletin board is, quite literally, pretty as a picture when covered with cheerful fabric, then placed in a frame and hung from a wide ribbon. The frame is painted to complement the fabric, which makes a perfect background for favorite photographs and letters, along with the more prosaic matters of life such as the phone bill and the grocery list. Have a lumber yard cut 3/4-inch-thick Homasote fiberboard to fit a large frame, new or from a tag sale. Cut a piece of fabric 2 inches larger all around; place facedown on work surface. Center fiberboard over fabric. Wrap one side of fabric to the back. Using a staple gun, attach fabric to board, beginning with one staple in the middle of the side, 1 1/2 inches in from the edge. Wrap fabric over opposite side, and secure to board with a staple directly opposite the first. Repeat with other two sides. Continue stapling fabric, working out toward the corners, always adding staples in pairs on opposite sides of the board, ensuring fabric stretches evenly. Place board in frame; secure in place with angle brackets at each corner. Attach D-rings to back of top corners of the frame. Loop ribbon through D-rings, and hang.
